Homeopathy is used to treat anyone who has a health issue, chronic or acute. It can be used to treat anything from the common cold, flu, teething in babies through to anxiety, depression, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and skin disorders such as dermatitis.

Homeopathy is most commonly taken in tablet form and can be used to holistically treat many physical, mental and emotional conditions in everyone, including the old, young, babies and pregnant women. It can also be safely used alongside conventional medicine.

The first consultation usually takes up to two hours. In this time the homeopath will want to get to know as much about the patient's symptoms as possible. Treatment takes into account the patient's emotional state and how they respond, either mentally, physically or otherwise to the stresses in their life. Homeopathy treats the whole person, holistically, rather than just their symptoms. For this reason there is no one medication indicated for everyone affected by a certain ailment. Although they may have the same disease, different people may need different remedies.

To train and qualify to practice Homeopathy at this level has taken four years study at the School of Homeopathy in Stroud, gaining an Advanced Practitioners Diploma in Homeopathy accredited by and registered with the Society of Homeopaths (RSHom). This qualification included a diploma in Anatomy & Physiology and Disease & Pathology.
